Sweet Surrender: A special 1/2 day immersion with meditation, inquiry & music from Miranda’s NEW soon-to-be-completed mantra album
September 11 @ 9:00 am - 12:30 pm$65
You are invited to join us from the comfort and safety of your own home for this special half-day event designed to nourish, uplift and ignite your inner landscape. Honour the 20th anniversary of 9/11 by diving into the Heart of Being to radiate your love deeper into our troubled world.
Our focus is Surrender: the devotional expression of nondual awakening and the heart of all spiritual paths. While our culture equates surrender with war and defeat, begrudgingly giving up to another ego’s will, spiritual surrender is a whole other matter. It is not collapse, weakness, resignation or bypassing our human difficulties. Nor is it trying to amputate our ego and its limiting patterns and reactions. As Ramana Maharshi articulated –
“Surrender is giving oneself up to the origin of one’s Being.”
Surrender is not something your personality can “do” but it is something you can learn to allow. In this half-day experiential immersion, Miranda will share rich insights into this perennial spiritual invitation. Then, invite you to journey into “rounds” of a mantra, its accompanying meditation and related inquiry focus. Miranda will help us open to the living transmission within the mantra, understand its invitation, let go into the beauty of the sound, and marinade in its nourishing nectars. From there, to let inquiry bring alive the clarity we need to BE love in these challenging times.
Together, alongside mighty companions from across the globe, we will pray for ourselves, our loved ones and our world, illuminate the obstacles and re-connect with the immense love and support that is always available to help us to become the graceful human beings we can be.
If you have worked with Miranda before, you will not yet have done anything quite like this. If you are new – well, we simply invite you to take this dive into the living stream of Grace. You will be the first to hear (and sing along to) three tracks of Miranda’s new mantra album, co-produced by Emmy Award winnning composer/musician Gary Malkin, and renowned kirtan music producer Ben Leinbach.
