Miranda's Life Story
Miranda Macpherson began her spiritual journey at the age of thirteen when, amidst a period of clinical depression, she was spontaneously opened into a profound state of Boundless love. That experience initiated a lifelong dedication to spiritual practice, inner transformation, and study of the world’s wisdom traditions.
After graduating from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts and pursuing a brief career in television presenting, Miranda left her native Australia for the United Kingdom to dedicate herself to a life of spiritual service.
At the age of 26, she founded the ground breaking OneSpirit Interfaith Foundation in London, at the request of her teacher Rabbi Joseph Gelberman. Over the course of a decade, Miranda trained and ordained over six hundred interfaith ministers and spiritual counselors, while also offering spiritual guidance to students across Europe, at the Findhorn Foundation, and within the Course in Miracles community.
In 2005, a seismic shift occurred that forever changed the course of Miranda’s life. While meditating in a cave in south India that was once home to the revered sage Sri Ramana Maharshi, she experienced a transmission that silenced her mind and required total surrender of all she knew.
In the wake of this transformative experience, Miranda found herself again moving to a new continent, settling in the San Francisco Bay Area, USA. There, a body of teachings on Grace and Ego Relaxation began to emerge.
Miranda is internationally recognized for her depth of presence and gift for guiding others into direct experience of the Sacred. Her wisdom and palpable transmission invites others to become more graceful human beings, deepening through inquiry, meditation, devotion and psychological integration.
