Since surrendering fear and control is by definition being vulnerable, to deepen in ego relaxation we need a nonviolent inner atmosphere. “Dropping the knife” distills one of the most important cornerstones for relaxing into the ground of Grace: the need to disengage from judgment, be it projected or internalized.
